GLiMMERS

Road to GLiMMERS. Singles rolling through 2026

GLiMMERS is Minko's next album. From a mental health perspective, a glimmer is the opposite of a trigger. It's the sight, sound, or moment that brings calm instead of alarm. This record is built on finding them and naming them on purpose. People. Places. Time. Moments. Feelings chosen and acknowledged deliberately.

At the root of it all is a confession that peace can feel scarier than pain when the only system you've known, even an awful one, can feel like losing home – as acknowledged in the single that precedes the album “Heureux Cauchemars”.

This about choosing life chapter and acknowledging hurt while refusing to let trauma be the lead conductor. It's about choosing light in a world and a mind that too make the darkness feel like the only and most permanent truth.

Terrifié à l'idée d'aller mieux.” - Terrified at the thought of getting better.

Executive Dysfunction At The Function (2024). The function represents three things: the party/get together; the life we perform ourselves through; and the mainstream version of society sold to us as the working framework. Written from inside a high-masking AuDHD mind improvising through a world built on one operating manual. The depressed self gets talked out of the house (Track 1: Outside)Anxiety gets danced through (Track 4: Strawberry Sorbet)Loneliness slows down inside touch (Track 2: No Rush)Loss of desire to live gets answered by staying for, with and through each other. (Track 8: Je Reste).

There are many competing sounds in Minko's catalog of music, but the common thread is emotion.” - Audrey Decker
